 Case Study - 1066 Housing Association -
HaltonThis was a regeneration project carried out during the winter of 2005, which coincided with the refurbishment of the complete estate both internally and externally. The project proved highly successful for both the client and tenants. In principle the main task was to achieve 'buy in' by the tenant so that the new planting schemes were able to establish themselves. We were able to achieve this by working closely with the tenants, attending liaison meetings and organising planning meetings and organising planting days where local residents could participate in group activities. As this was an extremely successful exercise both in revamping an old estate and establishing a new living environment. Subsequently, we are currently involved in a similar project on the Downs Farm Estate. Back to case studies |
