W Stirland Ltd - Frant New Primary School
Project: Design and build scheme for the fencing and soft landscaping of the replacement primary school in the village of Frant, East Sussex.
Key features: Design required to meet a high level of environmental interest on the edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB) and to provide resources for the teaching and learning environment.
Our work:. We worked with the developer and the architect to provide a scheme and construction specification for this environmentally sensitive site, that met the requirements for a stimulating and resource rich educational environment. It also mitigated the planning impact of the development on an open field on a ridge line at the edge of the High Weald AONB.
The result: A habitat rich development with facilities for curriculum resources, social development and sports activities that will also maintain and enhance the biodiversity of the local environment.
